The MMA world has been waiting a long time to see UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo fight Frankie Edgar and the lot will finally get their wish tomorrow night at UFC 156. The 21-1 Aldo is on an impressive winning streak including success over the likes of Chad Mendes, Urijah Faber, and Kenny Florian, while Edgar is making his divisional debut after a lightweight title-run.
However, before the two can face off in the Octagon they will square up on the stage after attempting to hit their weight-related mark on the scale. Aldo-Edgar, along with the rest of the fighters competing on Saturday night’s card, are set to weigh-in later today in Las Vegas in hopes of making the lineup official.
The festivities fire up at 7:00 PM EST and Five Ounces of Pain will be tuning in to relay live results back to our readers as things unfold from the venue.
