Seasoned scrapper Marcus Davis is officially a member of Bellator after inking a contract with the organization. Though “The Irish Hand Grenade” hasn’t received an opponent yet, the 39-year old is slated to make his promotional debut on March 21 at Bellator 93 in his home-State of Maine.
Davis went on Twitter over the weekend to confirm the deal and the date/location of his first fight under Bellator’s banner.
The 21-9 Davis has won four of his five fights since being cut by the UFC with the only exception involving a Split Decision stumble. Included in the bunch are instances of success over fellow UFC veterans Pete Spratt and David Bielkheden. Fifteen of his total victories have involved some form of finish.
