Though UFC featherweights Cole Miller and Bart Palaszewski haven’t always been the most consistent competitors when it comes to winning, each can also lay claim to an exciting attack, a polished set of skills, and a fearless approach to fighting. As such, though both are coming off back-to-back losses, there’s no reason to doubt the amount of entertainment sure to be delivered when Miller-Palaszewski face off at the Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.
UFC officials confirmed the bout. Additionally, a match-up pitting Justin Lawrence (4-1) against Daniel Pineda (17-9) was also announced.
The 18-7 Miller has stopped sixteen of the opponents he’s beaten including the likes of Jorge Gurgel, Leonard Garcia, and Ross Pearson. Thirteen of his victories have come by way of submission.
Interestingly enough, Palaszewski hasn’t been tapped in more than five years. He holds a career mark of 36-16 with 28 finishes and notable triumphs against Tyson Griffin, Ivan Menjivar, and Anthony Pettis.
The April 13 show features a flyweight title-fight between champ Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Moraga in the headlining slot.
