UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey and top contender Liz Carmouche have both traveled different but equally difficult roads to next weekend’s headlining tilt at UFC 157. Carmouche, a military brat and Marine veteran who struggled with coming out about her homosexuality and still has to work full time to make ends meet; Rousey, the daughter of an Olympian who lost her father at an early age, struggled with a speech impediment/social issues as a teen, and went on to become a medalist herself not to mention the most popular female in fighting today.
The lives of both women were on display once again last night in the second UFC Primetime episode chronicling the final few weeks before the talented twosome lock horns and make history in the process as the first female fight inside the Octagon.
