A meeting of middleweights has been added to the lineup for UFC on Fuel 10 in the form of a fight between Derek Brunson and Ronny Markes. Both are unbeaten in the Octagon and should position themselves for a few opportunities at facing ranked opposition in 2013 with a victory on June 8.

UFC officials have yet to announce the bout, though Brazilian outlet TATAME has confirmed the tilt will take place on the Fortaleza-bound event.

Brunson pulled off a surprising win over Chris Leben in his UFC debut last December, outpointing the seasoned veteran to improve his overall record to 10-2. Seven of his wins have featured some form of stoppage.

The 14-1 Markes is 3-0 under the UFC banner. Among the notable wins in his career are those over Paulo Filho, Karlos Vemola, and Aaron Simpson.
