World Series of Fighting delivered a solid debut last November and will attempt to do so again tonight in the organization’s sophomore effort. Former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski is set to face heavy-handed grappler Anthony Johnson in the evening’s main event with a knockout nearly guaranteed given their reputation for rendering opponents unconscious. The 19-9 Arlovski has come out with his hand raised in four straight fights with three strike-based stoppages in the bunch, while Johnson holds an overall record of 14-4 with a similar stat-line in terms of Arlovski’s recent run of success.
Also on tap at WSOF 2 are in-ring appearances from the likes of Tyson Nam, Kris McCray, Gesias Cavalcante, Aaron Simpson, and Paulo Filho.
