UFC President Dana White let fans know more cuts would be coming after a chunk of competitors were trimmed from the roster in February. However, minus a few releases related to behavior outside of the Octagon, all had been relatively quiet on the free agency front…until now, that is.
Neer holds an overall record of 33-13-1 with 29 stoppages but is on a three-fight skid including two losses in the opening round of action. Prior to the rough patch he’d won six straight.
Also axed were Caros Fodor (7-3), Brock Jardine (9-3), and Jon Manley (7-2). Both Fodor and Jardine fell in their last two tilts despite showing promise, while Manley was part of a lackluster TUF 16 cast and came up short in his UFC debut last month.
