UFC on Fuel 9 gets green-light with all fighters on weight

UFC on Fuel 9 BannerThe lineup for UFC on Fuel 9 took a hit this week when headliner Alexander Gustafsson was forced out of his face-off with Gegard Mousasi. Fortunately, it appears the card should avoid any other last-second issues after the entire lot of competitors checked in on the scale and hit their required marks.

The man replacing Gustafsson – Ilir Latifi – clocked in at 206 pounds for his tilt with Mousasi in comparison to his adversary coming in at 204. Being slightly heavier will be the only advantage the 7-2 Latifi has going into the bout, facing a former Strikeforce champion with 22 wins in his last 25 fights.

Fans can catch the two clash tomorrow on Fuel TV. Preliminary actions starts on Facebook at 10:45 AM EST with main card match-ups at 2:00 PM EST.
