Though the match-up was not a headliner by any means, an anticipated pairing between potential-laden prospects Jon Tuck and Norman Parke has been scratched from this Saturday night’s lineup for UFC on FOX 7. According to a Tweet from Tuck, he suffered an undisclosed injury while training for the clash and is unable to compete as a result.
Additionally, MMAJunkie has confirmed no replacement will be sought since the show is less than a week away. Depending on the severity of Tuck’s condition it seems reasonable to think the two could end up facing off against each other on a future card rather than individually re-booked.
Tuck is 7-0 in his career with six stoppages including an even split between TKOs/submission. He made his Octagon debut last November where he picked up a decision win over Tiequan Zhang.
Meanwhile, Parke was the last man standing at his weight on TUF: Australia vs. UK. He holds an overall record of 17-2 with fifteen finishes.
