UFC bantamweights Miesha Tate and Liz Carmouche both came close to career-changing wins earlier this year only to fall short in the end. Now the two talented women are looking to lock horns with each other and it appears a date/location have already been tentatively penciled in for the pairing to take place.
According to a report on UFC Tonight, Tate and Carmouche will likely collide on July 27 at UFC on FOX 8. As it stands, the only obstacle possibly preventing the tilt relates to damage to Tate’s nose suffered in a losing performance against Cat Zingano.
Comparably, Carmouche is 8-3 with five TKOs and two tap-outs to her credit. She was last seen stumbling to champion Ronda Rousey after starting out strong, seeing a two-fight winning streak go down the drain as a result.
