UFC featherweight Robbie Peralta’s nickname is “Problems” and fittingly so considering the predicament the 27-year old is currently dealing with. According to an official announcement, Peralta has been suspended for six months after his drug test for an April outing was flagged for marijuana metabolites. Keeping in line with standard procedure, he will also have to complete a drug rehabilitation class and come up clean in an additional screening before getting the green light to compete again.
As Peralta’s failed test came after a losing effort there is no need to overturn the result.
Peralta’s defeat to Akira Corassani at UFC on Fuel 9 was his first stumble inside the Octagon. He holds an overall record of 16-4 with fourteen wins featuring some form of stoppage.
