Five Biggest Winners at UFC 162

It must have been a relief for Frankie Edgar to only have to fight three rounds, being that he hadn’t gone less than four since 2009. Oliveira is no slouch, but he is not the kind of high profile win that would give Edgar another title shot. A matchup with the winner of Chad Mendes vs. Clay Guida makes a lot of sense to me. This past weekend’s UFC 162 in Las Vegas saw several solid performances by some of the UFC’s best.  There was good action all around and some very significant progression was made as far as title pictures are concerned.  This is a list of the Top 5 fighters that made the biggest strides and bettered their careers the most.  So here they are, in order, the Top 5 biggest winners from UFC 162.

I think you have the right guys, but the wrong order:

    5) Frankie Edgar – This fight indicates Frankie is still here.
    4) Gabriel Gonzaga – This fight saved his job.
    3) Chris Weidman – I lower this on my list due to all the questions raised by Silva douchey, weird performance.
    2) Mark Munoz – This fight SHOUTS that Mark is still here. Also, he seems tougher and stronger. And awesome.
    1) Cub Swanson – KOing Denis Siver in a fantastic fight should earn Cub a title shot.
