Anderson Silva lets guard down after UFC 162 loss

UFC middleweight Anderson Silva is by most accounts a bad dude when it comes to his endeavors in the cage but beyond that he’s somewhat of an enigma. “The Spider” is stand-offish and cocky on certain occasions while being humble and humorous at other times. He toys with media members and showboats in the Octagon, but is also fiercely loyal to friends and is known to be a compassionate individual in his personal life.

While the mystery surrounding Silva will likely remain for the rest of his career, the 38-year old Brazilian recently pulled the curtain back for a video blog documenting his experience at UFC 162. The clip shows the former champion preparing to face Chris Weidman at the event, catches his backstage reaction after being knocked out, and also gives some insight on an emotional meeting with his team in the hotel room after the show’s conclusion.

Kinda made me feel sad like he passed away god forbid but his loss is huge and I hope he doesnt go on a losing streak and retire. Depression is a beast I hope he can beat it.
