UFC lightweight T.J. Grant is about to have some company when it comes to contendership, as a September 21 bout between Pat Healy and Khabib Nurmagomedov has been confirmed by several outlets. Both men will enter the Octagon on impressive winning streaks and with well-rounded arsenals, making for what should be an entertaining addition to the UFC 165 lineup.

Healy won six straight fights in Strikeforce before an impressive effort against Jim Miller at UFC 159. “Bam Bam” went on to win the bout but saw the result overturned due to marijuana use. He holds an overall record of 29-16 including past wins over Dan Hardy, Paul Daley, and Carlos Condit.
The 24-year old Russian has yet to taste defeat twenty tilts into his career including four victories in the UFC. Fourteen of his wins have featured some form of finish.
UFC 165 is headlined by a light heavyweight title-fight between champion Jon Jones and challenge Alexander Gustafsson.
