A likely “loser leaves town” tilt has been booked for UFC 166 in the form of a fight between featherweights Matt Grice and Jeremy Larsen. Though both talented, each competitor has ended up on the wrong side of an outcome in their latest outing including two straight knockout defeats for Larsen.
UFC officials have confirmed the October 19 effort. UFC 166 is scheduled to take place in Houston, Texas and features Cain Velasquez defending his heavyweight title against Junior dos Santos in the main event.
Grice came up short against Dennis Bermudez in a Split Decision this past February. He holds an overall record of 15-5 with his biggest win to date coming against Leonard Garcia.
The 8-4 Larsen is still seeking his first win inside the Octagon. Five of his victories have featured some form of finish.
