The UFC may not roll through England as often as it used to but fans in the United Kingdom can rest assured a number of their favorite regional stars will see action when the Octagon makes an appearance. Already set to feature the likes of Ross Pearson, Jimi Manuwa, and Michael Bisping, UFC Fight Night 30 recently received another match-up sure to make fans in Manchester happy, as lightweight Paul Taylor will make his return to the organization after more than two years on the sidelines due to injury.
According to MMAJunkie, Taylor will lock horns with Anthony Njokuani at the October 26 event.
Taylor’s record in the UFC is far from pretty at 4-5 but he’s rarely if ever been in a boring effort. He is 11-6-1 overall and was last seen scoring a head kick knockout of Gabe Ruediger at UFC 126.
The 16-7 Njokuani is also coming off a strike-based stoppage, blasting Roger Bowling this past April. Nine of his wins have come via TKO.
