Gray Maynard-Nate Diaz III Set For Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale

The third meeting between Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz will take place this November at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale.

The bout is set for November 30 from Las Vegas and the Mandalay Bay Events Center. So far, it is the only match announced for the card other than the obvious Ultimate Fighter finales.

Diaz (16-9) will be looking to bounce back from a pair of losses to then-UFC champion Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson. He is a former TUF winner, defeating Maynard when both were on the reality series in the semifinals.

After the loss, Diaz was suspended for comments made on his Twitter page for 20 days and fined.

Maynard (11-2-1) is also looking to get back on track after a loss to TJ Grant. He has gone 2-2-1 in his last five fights. “The Bully” earned a win in the rematch with Diaz in 2010.

Not to sure I am excited for this fight. This fight does make sense, both guys are top 10 and both comming off KO losses, but I for one really want to see Diaz vs Noons. I think Gray take a decision here but would like to see Nate win a submission or a ko.

i dont mind this one, plenty more other options but this isnt so bad. i was hoping Nate would take time off and come back at 170 though, he looked awful at the Thompson weigh in.
