The card that was just given Antonio Silva vs. Mark Hunt, which takes the top spot on the UFC Fight Night 33 main card, will now feature another Brazil vs. Australia matchup.
It was just announced earlier today that Mauricio Shogun Rua fights James Te-Huna in the co-main event. But instead of Brazilians fighting in Brazil, this one will take place down under in Te-Huna and Hunt’s home land of Australia on December 7th.
Rua just suffered a rather surprising first-round submission loss to Chael Sonnen at UFC Fight Night 26 in Boston, and loss to UFC 165’s Alexander Gustafsson before that.
Te-Huna was on a steady rise to the top of the light-heavyweight before also getting guillotined in round one.
