For what it’s worth, Anderson Silva remains hopeful of testing his skills vs. former boxing world champion Roy Jones.
Recently, during an appearance on “UFC Tonight” to promote the December UFC 168 fight vs. UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, Silva was asked about potential super fights.
The Brazilian was straight forward, saying “No, no, no” to any future talk of facing UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
“I don’t like the super fights,” he added. “My super-fight is me and Roy Jones. That’s it.”
Silva also said that talk of future MMA super fights need to “stop.”
