According to UFC President Dana White, the event earned $1.5 million in ticket sales. It wasn’t the organization’s biggest show in Great Britain or even Manchester but it’s still a respectable number. It should also be noted the card lost its biggest draw in Michael Bisping, and though Lyoto Machida’s presence certainly helped he’s not nearly as beloved in the region as the biggest name to come out of the country.
MMA fans looking for a little afternoon delight found it today in the form of UFC Fight Night 30. The event was broadcast live on FOX Sports 2 from Manchester, England and offered up some excellent action for those tuning in. Now that the smoke has cleared, four competitors have emerged with an extra $50,000 due to their performances at the show in addition to numbers relating to the box office.
