Condit is one of the toughest welterweights out there. He’s well-rounded, comes into every fight with excellent conditioning, and has an extremely durable chin. While he'd suffered a decision loss to Georges St-Pierre in his previous pairing, Condit gave “Rush” all he could handle in their five-round rumble and didn’t see his stock diminish despite the defeat. Condit definitely served as a stiff test for Hendricks, but the Oklahoma State stand-out still passed with flying colors due to takedowns and a willingness to match Condit in the striking department when necessary. After fifteen grueling minutes, Hendricks exited the Octagon with his hand raised and this weekend’s title-shot in tow.
