UFC 167 Medical Suspensions For Johny Hendricks, Georges St-Pierre, Others

A bevy of fighters who competed this past weekend at UFC 167 were hit with medical suspensions by the Nevada Athletic Commission, including main eventers Johny Hendricks and UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

Hendricks is suspended until May unless cleared by a doctor, while St-Pierre was handed a suspensions until January. Others who must remain sidelined include Chael Sonnen, Rashad Evans, Josh Koscheck and Rory MacDonald.

Georges St-Pierre suspended until 01/01/14 with no contact until 12/17/13

Johny Hendricks must have orthopedic clearance on right knee or no contest until 5/17/14. Minimum suspension, no contest until 12/17/13 and no contact until 12/8/13

Chael Sonnen suspended until 01/1/14 with no contact until 12/17/13

Rory MacDonald suspended until 12/17/13 with no contact until 12/8/13

Josh Koscheck suspended until 01/1/14 with no contact until 12/17/13

Ali Bagautinov must have orthopedic clearance on left foot or no contest until 5/17/14. Minimum suspension, no contest until 12/17/13 and no contact until 12/8/13

Evan Dunham suspended until 01/1/14 with no contact until 12/17/13

Rick Story suspended until 01/1/14 with no contact until 12/17/13 (left eyebrow laceration)

Erik Perez suspended until 12/17/13 with no contact until 12/08/13 (laceration on bridge of nose)

Gian Villante must have orthopedic clearance on both hands or no contest until 5/17/14

Cody Donovan must have right hand x-rayed and cleared by an orthopedic doctor, or no contest until 5/17/14. Minimum suspension and no contest until 12/17/13, with no contact until 12/8/13
