Injuries to both Shane Del Rosario and Guto Inocente have forced the heavyweights off the December UFC 168 card.
UFC officials announced the removal of the bout on Thursday.
The card, set for December 28 from Las Vegas, features a pair of title fights. Chris Weidman defends his middleweight belt vs. Anderson Silva, while Ronda Rousey puts her title on the line vs. Miesha Tate.
Del Rosario (11-2) has lost both of his UFC matches since moving over from Strikeforce, while Inocente (6-2) is on a four-fight win streak. He has yet to compete inside the Octagon.
