Tate Takes Commentary Talents To Invicta FC

Miesha Tate, fresh off her showing as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, will try her hand at announcing.

Tate has been added to the three-person team for Saturday’s Invicta FC 7 card from Kansas City. She joins play-by-play veteran Michael Schiavello and fighter King Mo Lawal.

The card features three championship matches and airs on cable and satellite pay-per-view.

Tate returns to the Octagon this month when she faces Ronda Rousey for the UFC female bantamweight crown at UFC 168.

Im sure she will do a thousand times better than rousy would. Rousys attitude will prevent her from getting these type of gigs.

Maybe, but I don’t see Tate on all these talk shows that Ronda is going on

Gunner – I’m not sure Rousey is smart enough to be a commentator, even if she wanted to be.

Im not sure you need to be particularly smart, look at how well rampage did commentating in pride, he was hella fun to listen too and didnt really have much to say about any fights.

I assume zuffa would have to ok this move? If so I wonder are they close to doing a wec on invicta?

if rousy is smart she would take all the jobs she can as the champ. She might not get as many gigs without the belt. sonnens the smartest guy ive seen in the ufc as far as getting paid from every direction if he had the belt we would see more of him. rousy should clock in as many times as possible while she can.
