Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva could be finding his way on The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 as a coach alongside Chael Sonnen after all.
Earlier this week, Silva stated that he would not have time to accept Sonnen’s invitation to join him on the upcoming season of the reality show from Brazil. Sonnen will be coaching opposite Wanderlei Silva, leading a team of Brazilian fighters.
However, as reported on “UFC Tonight” earlier this evening, one of Silva’s managers, Jorge Guimaraes, made it known that “The Spider” might be able to squeeze it in.
Silva is planning a vacation after his upcoming title fight with Chris Weidman at UFC 168 on December 28, but he is going to make an effort to join up with Sonnen – who he twice fought and defeated. The pair had a lengthy rivalry and traded verbal barbs as well as fists inside the Octagon.
