“I’m fired up, man. Right now when you asked me the question I’m jumpy. I’m ready to go. I’m very excited for this fight and it’s a big opportunity for my career. I think I’ve been doing very well and I have so much more to show inside the Octagon with my skills. I’m looking forward to putting on the greatest performance of my career and with the UFC in this fight.” (PHOTO CREDIT: Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports)
The poster for UFC 168 certainly doesn’t feature featherweights Diego Brandao (18-8) and Dustin Poirier (14-3) but you better believe fans will be well-acquainted with both by the time the curtain closes. The two twenty-somethings already have a handful of brilliant performances under their belt, exhibiting the sort of skill earning reputations for each as exciting, aggressive competitors worth watching. Brandao recently spoke to UFC.com about his December 28 tilt with Poirier where he labeled to bout as the biggest of his career and promised a high dose of entertainment.
