UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman has no issue knocking Anderson Silva out tonight in their main event fight at UFC 168.
But, if he needs to, Weidman is fully-prepared to rely on his other strength: wrestling.
“I feel like my bread and butter is wrestling and jiu-jitsu,” said Weidman, during a recent pre-fight press conference. “I felt that in the first fight.
“I (also) think my cardio is one of the things I take the most pride (in). I worked really hard on that for this camp and my conditioning is going to be one of my big advantages.”
Weidman stunned the MMA world this past July when he knocked “The Spider” out and became the first fighter to defeat Silva in the UFC.
