Cat Zingano doesn’t want to miss out on her chance to compete for the UFC female bantamweight title and challenge Ronda Rousey.
However, “Alpha” will have to do that, as UFC officials have paired Rousey up with Sara McMann in February at UFC 170.
Zingano was set to face Rousey and coach on the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter before suffering a knee injury. Her title shot went to Miesha Tate, who Rousey defeated this past weekend.

UFC president Dana White went ahead and confirmed Rousey-McMann as the next fight, citing Zingano’s knee injury as a reason for her delay in getting a championship match.
