UFC Rankings Now Include Top-15 In Each Weight Class

Behind a second straight victory over Anderson Silva, Chris Weidman now finds himself within the Top-5 of the pound-for-pound UFC rankings.

Weidman moved up three spots to No. 5, behind only fellow champions Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Cain Velasquez and Demetrious Johnson.

Silva dropped to seventh overall, falling four spots.

Thanks to a knockout win over Josh Barnett, Travis Browne moved to third in the heavyweight division. Barnett actually moved up one spot despite his loss.

The latest rankings now include the Top-15 overall in each weight class, an expansion from the Top-10 of previous rankings.

Frank Mir has lost 3 straight fights, failing to win a single round during the past 2 years, and has never defeated any of the other top 10 fighters he still manages to share company with in these silly rankings.

Not necessarily saying frank shouldn’t be ranked there, but just one of the glaring examples of how bare the HW division still is.

Chael is ranked in Top 10 of LHW, it’s not just the HW division that’s silly with rankings.
