His exodus from the confines of UFC life was just a short time ago, but erstwhile welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre has wasted no time making waves for his former employers. First he blasted the UFC on their drug screening policies, and now… he’s launched a fighters union?
According to a tweet by longtime referee Yves Lavigne, a fighters union with GSP as the head was announces via circulated memo. Here’s the tweet, which, translated from French reads, “A union for the fighters with a head of GSP?”

There’s no indication that a union would gain any sort of traction in the real world – in any capacity. But hey, at least the sentiment is in the right place, right?
