UFC officials have selected Ultimate Fighter 18 contestant Raquel Pennington to face Jessica Andrade at UFC 171.
Andrade was originally scheduled to meet Julianna Pena, but the TUF 18 winner was forced out with a knee injury.
The card goes down March 15 from Dallas and the American Airlines Center. In the main event, Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler collide for the vacant UFC welterweight title.
Pennington (4-3) scored a decision victory over Roxanne Modafferi after both were on the reality series. The win was the first for Pennington since 2012, snapping a two-fight losing skid.
Andrade (10-3) has split her two Octagon bouts, falling to one-time contender Liz Carmouche before defeating Rosi Sexton.
Sarah Kaufman, Shayna Baszler and others pushed hard through social media sites to try and replace Pena, who is expected to be sidelined for almost a year with the injury.
