Team Alpha Male head coach and nine-time UFC fighter Duane Ludwig sees tonight’s main event at UFC 171 between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler being nothing short of “awesome.”
Ludwig, during a recent interview with FightLine, talked about the headline fight from Dallas and offered up his thoughts on the bout.
“It’s an awesome card,” he said. “I like Hendricks, but I would like to see Lawler win because he is an old-school guy.
“It’s been cool to see him resurrect his career.”
Ludwig, who last fought in 2012 before moving into his current role leading the likes of Urijah Faber, Joseph Benavidez and Chad Mendes, things there is a good chance that the bout ends early between the two heavy hitters with wrestling pedigrees.
“I could see a finish either way,” Ludwig said.
We’ll have more next week on FightLine concerning Ludwig and his new affiliation with Unrivaled Sports Performance out of Nebraska, along with his thoughts on Team Alpha Male’s quest for gold.
