Along with a severe re-shuffling of the welterweight division, Dennis Bermudez was the biggest winner as the latest official UFC rankings were released following UFC 171.
In the welterweight rankings, Johny Hendricks took over the top spot after winning the belt. Robbie Lawler, who he bested in the main event, is now No. 1, followed by Rory MacDonald.
However, the move up by Tyron Woodley is the most impressive yet, as he jumped to No. 4 overall. Also, Hector Lombard worked his way to sixth after besting Jake Shields, who fell five spots.
Bermudez moved to No. 10 at featherweight, climbing past Jeremy Stephens and Darren Elkins. He has won six fights in a row, including a TKO over Jimy Hettes this past weekend.
