It appears changes are coming to future UFC events.
UFC president Dana White confirmed the news with Yahoo! Sports, as the promotion continues to play musical chairs around the Chael Sonnen-Wanderlei Silva fight.
There have been plenty of issues involving Sonnen-Silva, which was only recently signed and made official. However, that bout is expected to be moved to the co-main event role of UFC 175 card during International Fight Week in Las Vegas.
White added that they are “not done working” on UFC 173 as a card yet. That event features UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao against T.J. Dillashaw in the main event.
Original plans had Chris Weidman defending his middleweight title against Lyoto Machida, but Weidman needed surgery to fix issues with his knees.
