Bellator MMA’s Bjorn Rebney, light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton and Cheick Kongo all toured the Children’s Hospital of Orange County to help brighten up the day of those fighting for their lives.
Along with Bamboo Nutra, the Bellator fighters and executives have launched a nation-wide program called “Champions Challenge” that has the two visiting schools and hospitals with the message to young people to help others each day.
“It’s a privilege to be able to spend time with the kids at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County,” Rebney said. “When you walk into that room with Champions like Emanuel Newton and Cheick Kongo and you see faces light up, it puts everything in perspective. This is a spectacular program that Bamboo Nutra’s created and a key example of the altruism that great companies can exhibit.”
