Only a handful of fighters who competed at UFC Fight Night 39 from Abu Dhabi last week were handed medical suspensions longer than 30 or 45 days.
Roy Nelson was dealt 180 days or clearance by a doctor after suffering a hand injury. He has since confirmed a broken bone in his right hand, which he used to defeat Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the main event.
Alan Omer, Jared Rosholt and Tatsuya Kawajiri have all been suspended for 180 days, as well.
All fighters on the card received at least a seven-day medical suspension, while the longer ones are listed below. The UFC was in charge of the suspensions since the event took place outside the U.S.
Alan Omer: 180 days or until cleared by orthopedist for right hand & wrist
Jared Rosholt: 180 days or until cleared by orthopedist for right shoulder
Tatsuya Kawajiri: 180 days or cleared by ophthalmologist for left eye
Antonio Nogueira: 60 days no fight, 45 days no contact
Roy Nelson: 180 days or cleared by orthopedist for right index finger
