UFC 172’s Jessamyn Duke Vows To Be Back After Loss

Jessamyn Duke had a lot of pressure placed on her shoulders entering UFC 172, and the member of the “Four Horsewomen” was unable to deliver.

Duke lost for the first time in her career to Bethe Correia, and if the sting of a loss wasn’t enough, social media came after her, as well.

For herself, though, Duke let it be known that she will be back and remains thankful to her fans, and even those who root against her.

“I love my life & I’m so thankful for all the fight fans out there,” she posted on Twitter. “I go out & put it on the line for YOU… Even the haters.”

Duke, along with UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, fellow TUF alum Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir comprise the women’s unit who are almost inseparable.
