Cat Zingano tossed her first kicks in 10 months during a recent training session, and it was all caught on film.
Zingano injured her knee in training while preparing to face Ronda Rousey last year for the UFC female bantamweight title. The injury also knocked her out of a coaching spot on The Ultimate Fighter.
If that wasn’t enough, Zingano’s husband committed suicide earlier this year. She has yet to set a return date, but looks to be getting closer and closer with this latest update.
The 31-year-old Zingano (8-0) defeated Miesha Tate last April in her one and only Octagon appearance to date. Four of her wins have come via knockout and three more from submissions.
