Nate Diaz isn’t buying it.
Josh Thomson’s Twitter account revealed some interesting comments over the weekend, as the former champion seemed to call-out Nick Diaz for a fight.
Thomson quickly fired back that his phone was stolen, allowing someone else – not Thomson – to make the comments on the social media site.
Nate Diaz, though, doesn’t believe that is what happened at all. Diaz, who lost to Thomson via knockout last year, offered up his own idea of what went down.

The comments-in-question include Thomson allegedly saying “I knocked out your brother, I’ll knock ur (expletive) ass out in San Jose July 26th. Let’s do it (expletive), San Jose vs. Stockton. Yup, (Expletive) U NICK DIAZ!”
Nick Diaz announced his retirement after a loss to Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title, and has turned down a handful of bouts offered by the UFC since. Thomson has also faced off against Cesar Gracie fighter Gilbert Melendez, as the two competed for the Strikeforce lightweight title.
