UFC 173 Takes Place Saturday, Current Lineup

The UFC returns to action this Saturday night with UFC 173: Barao vs. Dillashaw.

Set for the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the main event features Renan Barao defending his bantamweight title against T.J. Dillashaw.

Other main card bouts pit Daniel Cormier against Dan Henderson, Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Ellenberger, Takeya Mizugaki up against Francisco Rivers and Jamie Varner taking on James Krause.

The pay-per-view main card begins at 10 p.m. ET after four prelim fights on FOX Sports 1 starting at 8 p.m. ET. Those bouts include Michael Chiesa-Francisco Trinaldo, Tony Ferguson-Katsunori Kikuno, Chris Holdsworth-Chico Camus and Al Iaquinta-Mitch Clarke.

Three fights are scheduled for Fight Pass starting at 6:30 p.m. ET, with Anthony Njokuani meeting Vinc Pichel, Sam Sicilia squaring off with Aaron Phillips and David Michaud battling JingLiang Li.

    Some great fights this weekend, Cormier vs Henderson will be very interesting, but I think we see Cormier emerge as a true contender

    Very good fights, I like Dillashaw but this may be a bit to soon for him, Lawler vs Ellenberger should be a blast as long as it lasts, but I will be going with Jake there. I think Henderson is getting blasted again and as much as I like him his big right will not save the day this time. Always a fan of Mizugaki so looking forward to seeing him get a big win also.

    Yeah Barao is too much at this stage for Dillashaw, he will finish him within the first 3 I think, as for Lawler and Ellenberger, I’ve got Lawler winning this one, he’s a much improved fighter, he showed great heart against Hendricks and I think he can finish Jake, great fight tho, both guys can bang. Gonna be a great card
