Robbie Lawler was a big winner at UFC 173, defeating Jake Ellenberger and securing a win bonus of $100,000 for his efforts. Lawler pocketed a total base salary of $200,000 from the fight, according to numbers released by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Ellenberger earned $68,000 in defeat.
T.J. Dillashaw, who won the UFC bantamweight title with a fifth round TKO victory over Renan Barao, earned $36,000. That included a win bonus of $18,000, but not the extra $100,000 he made from winning two bonuses that night. Barao earned $74,000 in defeat.
Other top earners were Daniel Cormier ($170,000), Dan Henderson ($100,000) and Takeua Mizugaki ($58,000). Cormier defeated Henderson in the co-main event via submission, while Mizugaki scored a main card victory over Francisco Rivera.
