The UFC has gone to work on the August schedule, as two bouts have been reported for UFC Fight Night 47.
Set for August 16 from Bangor, Maine, the card will include Tim Boetsch vs. Brad Tavares and Jack May vs. Shawn Jordan. So far, those are the only two fights announced.
Boetsch (17-7) is a Maine native, but is in need of a strong performance after going just 1-3 in his last four. Prior to that, “The Barbarian” had won four in a row, including a decision over Hector Lombard.
Tavares (12-2) had his five-fight win streak snapped by Yoel Romero in April, as he lost via decision. He is 7-2 in nine UFC appearances.
Jordan (15-6) is on a two-fight losing skid, as he has been finished by both Matt Mitrione and Gabriel Gonzaga. May (7-1) suffered his first career loss via TKO to Derrick Lewis in April.
Below is the current fight card:
Middleweight: Tim Boetsch vs. Brad Tavares
Heavyweight: Jack May vs. Shawn Jordan
