FOX Sports Adds Chris Lytle To Information Desk

ufc fight night 45

Chris Lytle will get his chance to shine in front of the cameras this coming week as part of the UFC coverage on FOX Sports 1 and 2.

Lytle, who retired following a 12-year career that saw him earn 10 “Fight Night” bonuses, will join Kenny Florian, Daniel Cormier and Karyn Bryant for the UFC Fight Night 45 pre-fight coverage beginning with weigh-ins on Tuesday.

The card, which airs Wednesday night, features a main event between Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller. Lytle, an alum of The Ultimate Fighter, will also be on the post-fight show that same night.

I’ve heard that Chris is replacing Chael for the time being, and I’m pretty happy with this. Lytle is well spoken, very educated, and has a ton of experience. I want to say he’s been a commentator before, but I could be wrong.

Wish he’d gotten the governer spot he was running for in his home state, his opponent did some shady maneuvering to put Lytle being a MMA fighter as a bad thing, and that it proved he was not out for the publics best interests.
