Jim Miller Among Those Given Medical Suspensions From UFN Atlantic City

Several fighters were given medical suspensions following their fights Wednesday night at UFC Fight Night 45, including Jim Miller.

Miller, who lost to Donald Cerrone via knockout in the second round of the main event, will need to get his right arm checked out before he can return.

Others, including Evan Dunham, Justin Salas, Joe Proctor and Jessamyn Duke were all given medical suspensions of at least 30 days; and in Duke’s case, indefinite until her broken hand gets fixed.

Jim Miller suspended indefinitely pending X-ray of right forearm, as well as abdominal ultrasound. Minimum suspension 30 days (30 days no contact) for knockout loss.

Evan Dunham suspended 30 days (30 days no contact) for technical knockout loss.

Justin Salas suspended 30 days for facial laceration, 30 days no contact for technical knockout loss.

Joe Proctor suspended 30 days (30 days no contact) for left temporal hematoma.

Alptekin Ozkilic suspended indefinitely pending CT scan (head). Minimum suspension 30 days (30 days no contact) for technical knockout loss.

Alex White suspended indefinitely pending neurological examination and CT scan. Minimum suspension 45 days (30 days no contact) for eye laceration.

Jesamyn Duke suspended indefinitely pending orthopedic clearance of left hand (pic). Minimum suspension 30 days (30 days no contact) for technical knockout loss.

Hugo Viana suspended 30 days (30 days no contact) for technical knockout loss.

Jerrod Sanders suspended indefinitely pending X-ray of left ankle.

Tina Lahdemaki suspended indefinitely pending opthalmological clearance of right eye. Minimum suspension 60 days (60 days no contact) for precautionary reasons.
