Dennis Bermudez and Bobby Green were big winners in the latest official UFC rankings, climbing all the way to seventh overall in their respective weight classes.
Bermudez, coming off a submission victory over Clay Guida at UFC on FOX 12, moved five spots at 145 pounds, while Green vaulted six at lightweight.
Green defeated Josh Thomson by decision in the main card opener from San Jose. Thomson, a former Strikeforce champion, fell three spots to sixth. Guida, also an ex-Strikeforce titleholder, plummeted five spots to No. 12.
With the movement, several others climbed or dropped a position or two. At featherweight, Cub Swanson pushed past Frankie Edgar and into second, while Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor each moved up one spot.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos took advantage of the Thomson loss, moving up a position each at lightweight.
