Chas Skelly will return to action next Friday night at UFC Fight Night 50, less than two weeks after earning a first round rear-naked choke victory at UFC Fight Night 49.
Skelly has agreed to replace Andre Fili and face Sean Soriano at the card, which takes place September 5 from the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The main event features Gegard Mousasi vs. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza on FOX Sports 1.
The 29-year-old Skelly (12-1) earned his first UFC victory when he finished Tom Niinimaki. Prior to that, he had lost via decision to Mirsad Bektic. Soriano (8-1) was topped in his Octagon debut by Tatsuya Kawajiri.
