Louis Taylor Signed To Fight Uriah Hall At UFN 59

ufc fight night 59

An injury to Costas Philippou has scrapped a planned rematch with Uriah Hall and opened the door for Louis Taylor to make his UFC debut.

UFC Fight Night 59 takes place January 18 from Boston’s TD Garden and features Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver in the main event.

Taylor (11-3) is on a four-fight win streak that includes a 2012 knockout of Joe Vedepo in Bellator. His last three victories have all been via guillotine choke for the APFC promotion.

Hall (9-4) has won his last two after a pair of split decision defeats in 2013. He was looking to avenge one of his pre-UFC losses to Philippou, who earned a majority decision over The Ultimate Fighter finalist in 2011.
