Fresh off a victory over Jessica Eye, Julianna Pena finds herself just outside the UFC’s Top-5 in the latest official rankings.
Pena, a former Ultimate Fighter winner, is now ranked seventh at bantamweight, climbing five spots on the heels of her win. Eye dropped three positions to ninth overall.
Ryan Bader, a winner over Rashad Evans this past weekend at UFC 192, climbed to third at light heavyweight. Ovince Saint Preux also moved up, slotting himself in at No. 5 between Glover Teixeira and Evans.
Jan Blachowicz debuted at No. 15 at 205 pounds.
In the welterweight Top-15, Rory MacDonald and Tyron Woodley are now first and second ahead of Johny Hendricks. Woodley and Hendricks were scheduled to fight, but issues with cutting weight knocked Hendricks out.
Francisco Rivera, Ray Borg, Wilson Reis, Al Bagautinov and Sergio Pettis all moved up or debuted in their respective weight classes.
Other female fighters who moved up were Rose Namajunas (tied for third/strawweight) and Sara McMann (sixth/bantamweight).
