Lightweights Dustin Poirier and Joseph Duffy will try again, as officials announced the bout for January’s UFC 195 event.
Set for January 2 from Las Vegas, the card features Robbie Lawler defending his welterweight belt against Carlos Condit in the main event.
Poirier (18-4) and Duffy (14-1) were booked for this past weekend and UFC Fight Night 76 in Ireland before Duffy was removed after failing his pre-fight medicals due to a concussion.
Since moving up to lightweight, “The Diamond” has scored wins over Carlos Diego Ferreira and Yancy Medeiros. He is 5-1 over his last six, losing only to Conor McGregor.
Duffy, the last fight to defeat McGregor, is 2-0 with the UFC, finishing Ivan Jorge and Jake Lindsey inside of the first round.
