Royce Gracie remained unbeaten in his legendary MMA career against Ken Shamrock, scoring a first round victory in the main event of Bellator 149 Friday night.
Several years after the two first met at UFC 1, it was Gracie finding the opening. After connecting with a knee, he pounded out Shamrock to earn the first round TKO.
In the co-main event, Kimbo Slice and Dhafir “Dada 5000″ Harris shocked everyone by forcing a third round. After 10-plus minutes of action, Harris succumbed to a few punches and was put away by his long-time rival.
Derek Campos scored one of the biggest wins of his career, knocking out veteran Melvin Guillard in the second round.
Linton Vassell topped former light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton via decision and Emmanuel Sanchez scored a split decision over Daniel Pineda to open the Spike TV main card from Houston.
